In a move aimed at rejuvenating it's onboard entertainment, P&O Australia has launched a series of theme nights to entertain guests. The 'Gatsby Party' joins P&O's other themed events including the spectacular 'Bianco White Party', a retro 'Back to School' night and the afternoon 'Vegas Pool Party' to be launched across the fleet in the next month.
'Gatsby' aims to take guests back in time to the roaring Twenties complete with art deco theming, feather boas, shoeshine boys, live music, a DJ, and Gatsby style cocktail menu. Passengers will be taught the Charleston and can attend workshops to make Gatsby style headpieces. Bow ties, hats and feather boas will be available onboard to ensure guests are dressed for the occasion.
At the launch of the Gatsby Party onboard Pacific Pearl P&O Cruises Director of Entertainment Brett Annable said the new themes are hitting the right mark with passengers “As we continue to move away from traditional themed cruise nights, our guests have really embraced the new P&O parties”, he said.
The 'Gatsby Parties' will be featured onboard every P&O cruise of three nights or more.
The theme nights are just one way P&O is boosting interest in the Cruise sector and attracting a younger audience in this growing travel vertical.
