Pacific Explorer

Could not fault this cruise ship. The food in the Pantry was varied, fresh and plentiful. The tables were cleared and cleaned rapidly and the food was hot. The special and included dining areas were good but overall I preferred the Pantry. On previous cruises my preferences have been for the dining rooms but not on this occasion. Entertainment in all areas of the ships were varied and there was always something to do if you wanted. Plenty of deck loungers and chairs for sitting around if that was your choice. The ports of Noumea and Isle of Pines were beautiful and it is a pity at Mare that the best and apparently only beach is on the other side of the island requiring 2 tickets to be purchased to get there by bus. Overall, beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water, friendly staff and immaculately clean ship. I even witnessed the tops of picture frames being wiped each day.
