    "My wife and I had an ocean view cabin on the 1st level which was very comfortable, clean and spacious. It was mid-ship which is a great position to have. Cannot fault the entertainment which was enjoyable every evening. The Carnival dancers/singers were fabulous. All the bands on board were great too. Food and beverages were excellent. Very happy with the services provided both at the Lido deck and the dining room. We did not go on the organised tours as we have visited the ports previously but we did go ashore. It is always good to book tours on board. Yes we will travel with Carnival again as we were very satisfied with our deal. All staff on board were friendly and could not do enough for you. "

    "Fortunately the weather was lovely and so we spent many hours gazing out to calm blue sea and skies- even spotting whales and dolphins on this trip! We were given a cabin near the Oasis deck lounge, which was perfect for us. Disappointed by some of the guests who unfortunately did not understand that this is a place of quiet restfulness. Perhaps this area could be designated a quiet zone, like the Quiet Carriage on the trains and specified as so in the literature and signage."

    Good Time on Pacific Jewel - P&O - Pacific Jewel Cruise Review

    "Our cruise was very enjoyable, very good food choises in the Waterfront Resturant. Very friendly waiters/waitresses, they gave good service. We had an inside cabin (3people) which we found to have good facilities, plenty of wardrobe and drawer space for all of us. Our stewards Carlo and Marvin (cabin 9231) were very good, we laughed at the towel animals. Didn't do any shore excursions except the arranged Melbourne Cup included with our cruise price. Having to line up among 100/1000's of people to get into & out of the course was a bit of a pain but I suppose you have to expect that. The second adult comedienne (man) wasn't funny and we couldn't understand him. If I was in charge of hiring comedy acts for the cruise line I certainly wouldn't employ him again. The other shows were okay and there was plenty to do during the day if you wanted to. This is our second cruise with P & O and we would go with them again."

    "The check was fast and very efficient. Cabins were a great design with a alcove for clothes and lots of draws and space to dress in. Just off bathroom. The food was a good variety in the food pantry and you were served. No passengers touch the food of untensils. This was good. The waterfront restaurant was good but meals were a little small sometimes. The transport to and from cup was well organised . Waiting times a little slow but that was due to volume of people all going and leaving at same time. Entertainment was good . We found bars too noisy for us which made talking difficult. Overall good trip. "

    First ever cruise - pacific islands on the Pacific Dawn - P&O - Pacific Dawn Cruise Review

    "A good introduction to cruising. I was very impressed with the balcony cabin - not big but roomy enough and very comfortable. The staff/crew were all amazing and very good at what they do. Would definately recommend the premium drinks package and cannot speak highly enough of the catering. The Salt restaurant is a dining experience that must be done too - brilliant. Stops were the only disappointing aspect of this cruise. Noumea was very uninteresting and poorly timed - arriving in port mid afternoon on a Monday and leaving again at around 9pm didn't present many possibilities - most places were shut or shutting. Life was a good spot to laze on the beach and have a swim - nothing else there really. Port Vila was good though - had an interesting tour around with a local taxi driver (much cheaper than booking through the ship) and the perfect spot to pick up your duty free before heading home. All in all, a good introduction to cruising. Will I do it again? Sure will!"

    "Pacific Explorer, - we were pleasantly surprised with this cruise as we have done P & O before , and not very impresses, The ça bin stewards were exceptionL , all staff very friendly & helpful; the islands were great although the weather was a little cool -: Loved the evening entertainment & the production shows , Food was good although being 16 days the menu needed a bit more variety, Had a great time other passengers were very friendly "
