A wonderful time on the Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"Thank you Crazy Cruises for making the booking process so easy and trouble free. We brought a beverage package which included unlimited bottled water, coffee, tea and a large range of mocktails and soft drinks which we would recommend so that you do not end up with bill shock. P & O Pacific Explorer is a fantastic ship to sail away on and the Crew and Staff are so friendly and nothing is ever a problem for them to make your stay with them the most memorable experience. We went on a 3 night food and wine cruise as it was my first cruise and I was not sure if it was for me - I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to sail away again. The food and wine events were very informative and also very entertaining and I am sure that all who attended learnt so much. We had a stateroom which was very clean, comfortable with our own shower, toilet and basin. We were on deck 11 slightly to the front of the ship. The entertainment was fantastic. There is so many food choices included in the package it is hard to decide where to eat. I would suggest to book the restaurants of your choice for dinner early in your cruise as they do book quickly. The Pantry requires no booking at all and has many so food choices and fantastic coffee. There are speciality restaurants should you wish to dine at. A cruise is a break away where you can do as much or as little as you choose. We also enjoyed some time at the gym with ocean views, so different to our normal gym visits. This was certainly a value for money break away for us."

Review Pacific Jewell - Tasmania - P&O - Pacific Jewel Cruise Review

"We'd really appreciate if you could write even something small. Here's a little of what we'd like to hear about: Our cabin was comfortable, clean, and well presented. It had everything we needed - including lots of hanging space and clothes hangers. We especially appreciated the position and being able to have a porthole/window. The entertainment was excellent and of professional standard. We especially appreciated the staff making sure a Downs Syndrome passenger was partnered and included in all the dancing that we saw. The food was of a really high standards. It met all of our dietary requirements and then some. We have nothing but high praise for the chefs and the service staff. We did not participate in off shore activities, preferring to be by ourselves. It was important to us to just walk, without being transported to see the sights. We did get a good deal. The booking process was relatively easy and we would travel again with the cruise liner, but at some time in the future. We were really impressed with the staff and crew, especially our Cabin Steward Erwin. He was a very caring but professional member of your staff and was most impressive. How were the staff and crew onboard?"

Happy customer on the Volendam - Volendam Cruise Review

"Fabulous clean ship with a happy helpful crew ... Would like to see a clock the cabin or a PowerPoint near the bed so you can charge your phone overnight and check the time without having to get out of bed.. Overall entertainment was good ... Band in the crows nest tended to have longer breaks the sessions most of the time.... We did 2 onshore tours both were well run... With the SE Asia cruise is you wish to travel independtly you are better off pre booking as language is a bit of a barrier in both Cambodia and Vietnam."

We enjoyed our cruise on Golden Princess to New Zealand. - Golden Princess Cruise Review

"The ship was in good order. As far as we know there were no somach upsets or "cruise coughs". Perhaps thanks to the forced hygene on the ship. We think quality and choice in the traditional dining room has slipped a bit with princess Cruises though I don't think any of us dine up to their standards all the time at home. There is plenty to do on the ship if you are young and agile. At least 70% of the passengers were over 60 years old . There were quite a few with mobility problems too, who seemed to be well catered for, and the usual very obese who indulged themselves continuously, We tried the Crown restauraunt which was very good, foodwise and atmosphere. We were a bit disappointed with the Saburtini Italian restauaunt though they had the better venue. Not being Italian I can't complain about the food but it wasn't to my taste and there was not a lot of choice. We had steak which was excellent. Our inside cabin was average size but very clean. The bedding was very comfortable, and the steward, Max, did his job efficiently with friendly attitude. Most of the over- 50s would agree that the very loud screething "music" and over- enthusiastic announcements are very irritating, and need to be softened. New Zealand is a beautiful country and we enjoyed every port. However, shore excursions with Princess are very expensive and well managed. We always take excursions with Viator a very reliable Company who garantee to return to the ship in time and on the whole, they are about 20% cheaper and very good value."

"We were very pleased with Carinival legend having been on it the year previously. Mostly the staff were similar and wonderful. The shows were the same though."

"Our 16 day cruise to NZ was excellent. We booked an guaranteed inside cabin which we saved around $800. Being Amercian based we did have to pay gratuity which cost us $300 each. There were four of us in our group which meant we were towards the front & the others were towards the back. The cabin was good, bathroom was good and being an inside cabin was nice and dark to sleep. Also was very quiet inside the cabin. We were both positioned on the 10th floor, probably mid ship would be the ideal position or if not towards the back as most of the restaurants & bars were towards mid or back. The shows were excellent, food was good with lots of restaurants to choose from. Plenty of bars as well. The staff were all excellent too. Getting on the ship was very easy & quick as we were onboard & eating lunch all within an hour. Disembarking on the last day was a bit longer. Overall we all had a fantastic trip. "

Honest review of a short cruise on P&O's Pacific Eden - P&O - Pacific Eden Cruise Review

"We had a balcony cabin. Fabulous size for 2 people with a lounge area with a table to play cards, watch TV and the onboard free videos were an added extra. Its great to have the option of fresh ocean air and seeing the sites as we left Sydney and arrived home. There were such a broad range of onboard activities. It is a good idea to pre-purchase a soft drinks package well worth the $7 per day. For drinkers a drinks package seems expensive but it will definitely save you a packet of money. The shows were varied and plentiful there is something to do every waking hour if you want. The staff are very respectful and friendly nothing is a problem for them. They all provided exceptional service. The food provided such a varience from the basic usual meals to the exotic. We ate at all of the restaurants on the ship whether you prefer a full sit down al a carte from a menu or a rustic approach to que and choose your own there was something from everyone."

Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"Shp was well presented. Clean and the fit was what I expected. Whild I see P & O Cruises as cheap cruises for the masses I found the whole experience enjoyable. I was worried about children as it was in the school holidays, however, I hardly knew they were there. Only negative was the lifts. They never seem to come or were broken. Luckily our cabin was centrally located and we were able to walk everywhere. I was impressed with how P & O adapted the cruise due to bad weather. Activities, with the ecxception of the pools and other outdoor activities went ahead. I enjoyed pulling into Jervis Bay as I spent a lot of my childhood in that area. All crew members were very accommodating and cheerful and another was too much trouble. We are vcertsinly going to do another cruise in the next few months. I am already looking at options. "

Maasdam Cruise - Maasdam Cruise Review

"First time cruise with my partner we got a ocean view cabin located on A deck in the centre of the ship the cabin was very clean and plenty of room to store everything we were surprised by the size of the ship it was 12 storey high and had eight lifts four on each end and it took us a while to find our way around we went to the Lido deck on the 11 floor always a good selection of food ,desert, soft drinks including tea and very good coffee and you can get alcohol too . The ship might be about 23 years old but very modern Inside was built in Italy has nice features everywhere . The staff were always helpful and friendly and the Entertainment on board was very good a different show every night or go to see a movie or go to any of the bars located all around the ship and two swimming pools you can do fine dining too there is plenty of activity around the ship or you can rent DVDs "
