Wonderful Review of Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"It was pure luxury. Our balcony room was Mid Deck 12 and it was so quiet and peaceful and a joy to open the windows and get the beautiful sea breeze. It was kept spotless and tidy by our attentive room steward. The food choices were fantastic. All the lounging areas were luxuriously appointed. We were never short of entertainment as there was always something to do. This was our first cruise and we are already planning our next."

Enjoyed ourselves on Pacific Eden - P&O - Pacific Eden Cruise Review

"My husband and I totally enjoyed our recent cruise on P&O Pacific Eden, I loved the ship it wasn't too big and not too glitzy or over the top with waterslides etc. the food on board was fabulous the variety was incredible and beautifully presented. But found the waiters at the Waterfront restaurant a bit snobby, but only a small thing, otherwise good service. The cabin was great found it a good size for us this is also the same for the ensuite. The house keepers were wonderful as well, we couldn't fault them. The entertainment on board was first class with the different types of entertainment, the pools were great, but it would of been nice to have a spa pool in the adults only area, especially for the older people who usually have aches and pains, the spas were taken over by the kids which is fine, but felt uncomfortable going in with them. I take my hat off to all the crew they worked tirelessly the whole cruise, from the people doing the tender boats, staff assisting getting on and off the tenders, to the cleaners, just everyone really they were incredible. I know the Pacific Eden has been sold which is sad because she is a lovely ship, more like the ships of old, this was our first cruise in forty years and of course a lot of things have changed but only for the better, except I really don't like the huge ships going round but that's just me. Thank you P&O I am hoping to go on another cruise on day and I would go with P&O because they ticked all the boxes for me."

Review on Pacific Dawn - P&O - Pacific Dawn Cruise Review

"Top Balcony Cabin- a joke with balcony so small and cabin was very tired. Most Staff in dining room were good but had to keep repeating food allergies for ever meal even though had filled in menu day before. Pantry staff couldn't understand or speak English so very difficult with my food allergies. Female staff in photo gallery very rude and unhelpful. Cabin staff were very good except had a used wet face washer hanging in shower on arrival! Went with my daughter for her 40th birthday and her husband, 4 years old & 6year old grandchildren nothing special from cruise ship for her birthday and I had to pay for the cake. Speciality Restaurant was excellent and had high tea there also. Anytime dining does not exist had to book main dining room and after day 3 0f 7 days they finally got it right. Very annoyed I had to pay in Luke M restaurant when my daughter and my sister in-law didn't have to pay extra. My daughter received $100 on board credit, NZ ice cream voucher, Luke M Restaurant FREE, Go catch voucher. My sister in-law received $200 on board credit, NZ ice cream voucher, Go catch voucher & Luke M restaurant FREE & I received $200 on board credit, NZ ice cream & Go catch voucher NO FREE Restaurant voucher. My daughter and I live in North Brisbane area and booked together so didn't need Go catch voucher. Would I book again on P&O...NO!"

Cabin a good size but torn and stained sofa and Tatty bed linen pulled it down, I have photos. Insufficient advice re the cruise

Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"Insufficient advice on the cruise beforehand, as to the standards on the ship. Only one night was "cocktail", the others were "smart casual". which translated to- t shirts and thongs in the restaurants, even down to caps being worn. The food in the "PANTRY" was usually cold ( poached eggs etc)and not of a good standard. The decor in the other restaurants was of good quality but again let down by the food served(50%). Children in bars of an evening and not constrained by parents. (Blue Room) Cabin great size but marred by worn and stained furnishings, tatty bed linen. Cabin crew seemed over worked so, just OK. But I must applaud the priority boarding, and the disembarkation which was fault free. Entertainment was mediocre, maybe that is a reflection on pricing."

Review On Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"The variety and quality of food in the buffet ‘The Panrty’ was disappointing. I was surprised that they did not serve either ice cream or cream to accompany dessert. Quite often there was a struggle to find seating and at times tables were left uncleared for sometime. Obviously a lack of staff and a lack of staff supervision. The quality of food in Angelos restaurant was ordinary. The Dragon Lady restaurant was reasonable and The Waterfront restaurant was also just reasonable. Despite being disappointed with the food overall in the restaurants the service was outstanding. The cabin crew service was faultless and they were friendly and obliging. Overall we had a relaxing and pleasant time, but, I would not cruise with P&O again."

Carnival Spirit has spirit - Carnival Spirit Cruise Review

"We had a wonderful eight day holiday in July to the South Pacific. The food, entertainment and service was all excellent for this class of ship and the general atmosphere on board was friendly and relaxed. Our cabin, although interior twin share on deck 7, was more than adequate for the limited time we spent in that area of the ship. We especially enjoyed the over 18 comedy shows and the nightly music in the Red Frog Bar. Everything including the tendering process was run professional and efficiently. "

A warm Pacific Jewel winter! - P&O - Pacific Jewel Cruise Review

"A great way to holiday with kids! Everything is just a few decks away...food, entertainment, drinks. Our cabin staff took good care of us and The Pantry staff made sure that mealtimes ran smoothly and that we all had enough to eat - they didn't judge if you went back for seconds either!"
