Our Review on Carnival Spirit - Carnival Spirit Cruise Review

"What can we say? As first time cruisers it was everything we hoped it would be and more. So much to see and do, on and off the ship. The activities on board catered for all ages and different interests, the food was very enjoyable and well prepared. Last but not least, our stateroom steward,Sandi. Sandi prepared our cabin each day, making us feel like we had all of the comforts.. Well done Sandi! Fantastic cruise,Carnival. "

Improvements for the Pacific explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"Hello, thankyou for the amazing comedy cruise the Easter long weekend. It was my first time on a cruise and i was impressed with so many activities, the music around the pool, the room service twice a day, nice buffet and to top it off hilarious and passionate cruise directors Rory and Jacinta If i could give you some feedback it would be 1. Let everyone have a booking included at the three restaurants..angelo..wf and dragon lady. I couldn't book any of them it was all booked out which seems unfair we didn't get any chance and was told sorry just walk away 2. Have an usher work the maequee room because people left seats wasted behind the wall and 1 seat gaps between people when it could be enjoyed 3. Write how long the activities are for.. are they all just 1 hour max? Or more or less? 4. Stick up arrow signs to help which way to black circus or marquee and nearest toilet 5. Sell the photographs for $20 a pack 6. Cut down on the variety in the buffet choices a add in more dark green or more vegetables e.g. i was so happy to eat some spinach that was in the breakfast offering on the 2nd day 7. Have a policy where people can't just lay there towels on the sun chair and bags it for hours so I'm left stranded without a place to rest on And alot of empty sun chairs with noone on it I hope you reply and let me know what changes you will consider =) regardless i have recommended your cruise to all of my friends! Cheers Jenny "

Sun Princess didn't make it to Fiordlands on the New Zealand Cruise - Sun Princess Cruise Review

"Unfortunately I only booked the Sun Princess cruise leaving Sydney on March 17,2018 to see Fiordlands and the weather was too bad for the ship to go there, so that was very disappointing. The swell and winds didn't seem that bad, but they were too bad so we had another sea day. The weather was too bad to get into Akaroa as well so we missed out on two stops. The staff as always were excellent, the ship it self was a tad tired but I was told it is going in for a full refurbishment very soon, which will be lovely for the people booking after that. The food as always was very plentiful, fresh, and colourful. There were a couple of vegetarian options each day which was nice, but a few more would have been really good for me. The buffet was very clean and the staff were very diligent about hand washing which was excellent, I didnt hear of anyone getting a food bug, but there was a lot of coughing going on by the end of the cruise, which could have been because of sleeping in the very dry air conditioning. I would have liked a drink package that included bottled water, but was told there was a soft drink package but it didnt include bottled water, just soft drinks which was delightful for a diabetic."

nice experiece on Pacific Explorer - P&O - Pacific Explorer Cruise Review

"Well maintained cabin, very attentive steward. Not difficult to get table at The Pantry, with better-than-expected decent food. Nice breakfast & lunch at Waterfront. Great food at Luke's if not mind paying a bit extra. Reasonable price for internet access. More movies playing at Big Screen would be preferred."

Carnival Spirit Review - Carnival Spirit Cruise Review

"Went on this ship with my girlfriend. We had the interior room with the French doors. Fabulous to have daylight and be able to see out even though the view was obstructed., so cheap, great value. The food quality and variety of choices was sensational. Our favourite thing about the ship was the live music in the lobby bar, Summer Breeze were fabulous and Kevin in the Piano bar at night after dinner. All up after 9 cruises this is my favourite!"

Review on Pacific Dawn cruise to Great Barrier Reef. - P&O - Pacific Dawn Cruise Review

"Writing as a senior citizen duo, we just completed a 7 night cruise on the Pacific Dawn. We had a lovely time, embarkation and disembarkation were both very smooth, as were all transfers to shore for excursions. Our cabin was good, being a 4 berth, with 2 bunks folded against the wall. Our mattresses were not good, being fairly old & faded, and only 4 inch innerspring, only half the depth of our friend's mattresses, who had a cabin in much better condition than ours was. Luckily we were able to use the 2 mattresses from the top bunks underneath our mattresses, which then made for a comfortable night's sleep. We were happy with the positioning, being fairly near the centre of the ship, so only a 20 to 100 metre walk to the lifts. Staff and crew were excellent, the entertainment crew did a good job, though there was a bit of stuff that went on that I would not have liked my children to have heard. The food was excellent, and my main criticism is that there were no sugar-free drinks except diet coke, and if you have ever seen what coke does to either a coin or a nail left in a glass of coke, you would not drink it either. There are some lovely fruit flavoured sugarfree drinks available, but not on board unless you take them on yourselves. My main tip for people would be to make sure you take what you want with you, as I made an expensive mistake by leaving one medication at home accidently, and it cost me $475.00 for a quarter of the same thing I got from Airley Beach for $6.40 - almost 300 times as expensive. Another tip is to check your on board spending carefully, as P & O have double charged me for 3 things and over $150 extra has been double charged to my account, and it is not easy to try & get this money returned."
