    "Beautiful ship, excellent shows and activities. Royal Esplanade is small though not big enough when a lot of people gather. Gym room is also small specially space for stretching, yoga is way too narrow other than that the ship is terrific , we would strongly reccomment to relatives and friends as we have always do."

    "My first cruise on Princess as I usually go Royal Caribbean and was I was very impressed. Everything went very well from the booking to the completion of the cruise. Cabin clean and comfortable , food in the main dinning room was top class and service excellent. Only went to three shows which were good but was not interested in the others."

    "We had a great time. Our cabin was fantastic. Very well kept during the cruise. Good and service was excellent. Day trips very well organised with very little fuss getting on and off. The staff are amazing very perlite and curtious. The only down side was the emergency drill at the start of the trip. I know this has to be done. However to keep elderly people standing on a deck for over an hour was to long. I heard a few people saying they just had knee replacements and had struggled to stand for over an hour waiting for everyone to get on deck. Either provide chairs or have the drill in an area where they can sit. "

    "Entertainment and live shows trivia exellent luved it. Staff fantastic. Kids hogging pool and spa typical lol shops good truffles restaurant great including staff. All other general food very average. Coffee awful hot chocolate way toooo sweet to drink . breakfast menu ok A fresher salad bar and carvery would be a teriffic improvement. Cabin nothing to fault love the towel aninmal a great touch we only to happy to leave tips other aussie travelers could take a cue from that instead of abusing us for asking couple tip envelopes. Who says australian dont tip its free country .staff deserve it so tip !!! Maybe leave tip envelope in cabin is fine by us 😆"

    "This was our first cruise and it was wounderful, we were greeted by friendly helpful staff, our room steward was also helpful and friendly nothing seem to be to much trouble. There was plenty to do for all interests, the dinning room staff where great food was lovely, nothing to be faulted. The only thing we found was there could have been a bit more signage of where to get some things to do with activities eg. Where to get bingo tickets and things like that. "

    "Although my balcony cabin was OK, the furnishings had a bit of wear, and the deck chairs and table on the balcony looked like they belonged in a tip. Entertainment was good to very good Beverages were ok and at reasonable prices. The food overall, was crap. First noght in the Waterfront, my meal (steak) was cooked ok, but was tasteless. Second night, we had seafood platters at $60 each, and the lobster was dry and bland (ex frozen). The last night, I had ribs, and was surprised that they were actually good. Breakfast in the Waterfron again, my omelette was tasteless, and service was very ordinary. I would most likely, not sail with P&O again. I have done 13 cruises around the world, and that was definitely the worst restaurant food I have had. The comedy also, was restricted to the theater only - I would have thought there may have been more smaller venues during the afternoon."

    "Have travelled with carnival line before. We have travelled twice on the spirit and once on the legend. Can recommend cruises with this company. We really enjoyed it. Although we did feel that prices of drinks were more expensive than with other cruise lines and they do not do a drinks package which is a shame. Cabin was a good size even though it was just a standard inside cabin. Food was excellent. "

    "Have done four cruises with P&O on different ships which we have thoroughly enjoyed. However we were very disappointed with the Explorer. Cabins were very small and awkward in shape and design. Layout of ship was not good. Could not watch any shows as the layout of the theatre was dreadful. No matter where you sat could not see anything. Not many shaded areas to sit outside. All in all we would not travel on the Pacific Explorer again. Although we would go with P&O on a different ship. "
