Great for a first time try out
Zaneta Dimovska travelled in December, 2018 and left the following review:
I was dissapointed with the quality of the food. I got sick after we had dinner at the Waterfront restaurant- I was throwing up , had diarrhoea and stomach cramps.
However I did like the food at the Dragon Lady and our waitress Ellen was amazing !
Also the fruit that was served at the Pantry was terrible it had no taste.
I won’t be doing another P & O Cruise anytime soon.
I did a Cruise 6 years ago with the Serenede of the Seas overseas from Barcelona and that was magnificent.
Paul Bracken travelled in November, 2018 and left the following review:
Not surprised its being sold with things like the ice machine breaking down to the tender motor burning out decor is nice inside but outside showing its 28 years age, pantry can be full with no seats and noisy so went to waterfront best free meal in dragon but book early beer would cost $7.50 a bottle make full use of your free coke carry on of 24 cans we did saved alot of money, cabin was clean but be prepared for things not working and report to reception our housekeeper was great, not much on the Islands and finally buy your duty free in Noumea Three barrels brandy only $13 accross the road from the ship
Julie Brand travelled in September, 2018 and left the following review:
My husband and I totally enjoyed our recent cruise on P&O Pacific Eden, I loved the ship it wasn't too big and not too glitzy or over the top with waterslides etc. the food on board was fabulous the variety was incredible and beautifully presented. But found the waiters at the Waterfront restaurant a bit snobby, but only a small thing, otherwise good service. The cabin was great found it a good size for us this is also the same for the ensuite. The house keepers were wonderful as well, we couldn't fault them. The entertainment on board was first class with the different types of entertainment, the pools were great, but it would of been nice to have a spa pool in the adults only area, especially for the older people who usually have aches and pains, the spas were taken over by the kids which is fine, but felt uncomfortable going in with them. I take my hat off to all the crew they worked tirelessly the whole cruise, from the people doing the tender boats, staff assisting getting on and off the tenders, to the cleaners, just everyone really they were incredible. I know the Pacific Eden has been sold which is sad because she is a lovely ship, more like the ships of old, this was our first cruise in forty years and of course a lot of things have changed but only for the better, except I really don't like the huge ships going round but that's just me. Thank you P&O I am hoping to go on another cruise on day and I would go with P&O because they ticked all the boxes for me.

THE ISLANDS ARE BEAUTIFUL WATER IS SO CLEAR AND BEAUTIFUL FOR SWIMMING. THE FOOD ON THE SHIP IS GREAT AND LOTS OF IT. THERE WAS LOTS OF THINGS FOR ALL AGES ON THE SHIP TO DO OR YOU CAN JUST RELAX AND READ A BOOK IF YOU LIKE.
Samantha Quinn travelled in May, 2018 and left the following review:
I was the organiser of 13 guests for the food & wine cruise. The ship was good overall & most staff friendly. Although expensive we were happy with our cabin. The pantry is a real plus with a great variety of food available. The waterfront restaurant was a huge disappointment. Although half empty we were not allowed to sit with our friends at breakfast, even though we booked for a large group. The head staff were rude & unfriendly. The food was disappointing compared to The Pantry. Often served cold, half our group did not eat dinner there. The entertainment offered was for the most part quite good. The most disappointing thing was compared to other food & wine cruises I've organised this one was far from a food & wine cruise with little to no activities offered regarding to food & wine. I had many complaints from my fellow cruisers which was hard considering all the effort I'd put in. Next year's group probably won't want to do another P & O food & wine cruise if it is the same as this one. Our group made it fun but it could have been a much better experience.

This was our first ever cruise. Absolutely loved it. Kids loved it too. Nothing to complain about. Love P and O.
Chris priem travelled in March, 2018 and left the following review:
We had a great time. Our cabin was fantastic. Very well kept during the cruise. Good and service was excellent. Day trips very well organised with very little fuss getting on and off.
The staff are amazing very perlite and curtious.
The only down side was the emergency drill at the start of the trip. I know this has to be done. However to keep elderly people standing on a deck for over an hour was to long. I heard a few people saying they just had knee replacements and had struggled to stand for over an hour waiting for everyone to get on deck. Either provide chairs or have the drill in an area where they can sit.
would go on this ship again but book with different agent travelled in February, 2018 and left the following review:
the cabin was comfortable with very good quality bed. The TV was much smaller thanthe one you sent in the email photo and the only news weather was global even though we were only in Australian waters.
when dining at the restaurants we could not get a steak or lamb and the meals were mostly slow cooker stew type. other couples told us about what type of cabin they had and what they paid and what spending money they got. It appeared that we got the worst deal compared to all others we spoke to. one couple had a suite with a Balcony with all the extras that go with a suite and paid $5200 and received $450 spending money thru cruisabout .This is lower than we paid so we got the wrong agent
Angie Hatchman travelled in January, 2018 and left the following review:
We had a balcony cabin. Fabulous size for 2 people with a lounge area with a table to play cards, watch TV and the onboard free videos were an added extra.
Its great to have the option of fresh ocean air and seeing the sites as we left Sydney and arrived home.
There were such a broad range of onboard activities. It is a good idea to pre-purchase a soft drinks package well worth the $7 per day. For drinkers a drinks package seems expensive but it will definitely save you a packet of money.
The shows were varied and plentiful there is something to do every waking hour if you want. The staff are very respectful and friendly nothing is a problem for them. They all provided exceptional service. The food provided such a varience from the basic usual meals to the exotic. We ate at all of the restaurants on the ship whether you prefer a full sit down al a carte from a menu or a rustic approach to que and choose your own there was something from everyone.
L Miedema travelled in October, 2017 and left the following review:
We loved every minute of our cruise. The staff are amazing and the entertainment exciting
